"Do what you love and success will follow. Passion is the fuel behind a successful career" - Meg Whitman
To Be Continued...
As I mentioned in other sections, I have always hated the "What do you want to be when you grow up?" question. Each time I was asked the question, I found that my answers differed each time. My answers ranged from being a doctor to being a forensic scientist, to even just a "millionaire". This question has always and will always stress me out making me fear I do not choose the "right answer". Since childhood, the pressure has decreased with my values established. My search went from looking for the singular "best" job to a variety of job options that would help me accomplish my goals of working with people and happiness.

My job search recently has been focused on consulting, both management and engineering. Consulting began to appeal to me because after some self-reflection, I realized that I enjoy solving problems, no matter what form they come in. Although a challenging and competitive field to enter, I have done my best to find success through networking and books that teach consulting self-study strategies.

Finally, my most up-to-date career update (as of April 2022) is that I will be interning at FM Global in Frisco, TX in Summer 2022. The role I will be performing is a Field Engineer Intern. I'm excited for this role as the work I have seen employees do perfectly blends consulting and engineering. I hope that this internship will lead provide me with a better grasp on what I want to do for my career and will be the first step of a successful professional career.
